A Puppy Called Aero
As with most stories, the begining of the story started with trouble. Liam Creed, the boy in the story was a trouble maker. His mother knew that something was not right about him. He wasn't just plain naughty, but he had something wrong with him that his mother coudn't figure out. Later, he was finally dianosed with ADHD, and that explained all the things that happened in his life. He went on medication, and it helped. But, it didn't helo as much as the puppy that was introduced to his life later on. It is a very touching story.

The Five People You Meet In Heaven
Edward, or Eddie, for short is the head of the maintenance department at the Ruby Pier, and amusment park. A few weeks earlier, Eddie's doctor told him that he had 'shingles'. Not knowing what on eath that was, he shrugged it off and continued with his life, greasing tracks and making sure that every ride in the park was safe. The park had a new ride, called Freddie's Free Fall, and this would be where Eddie would be killed, in an accident that would make newspapers around the state. When he died, he met five people in heaven whom he influenced, and who influenced him. There was the 'Blue Man', given that nickname because his skin was blue, his old captain, who together they fought in the war, an old woman, who he had no recounting of except that the park he worked in had her name and her picture, his wife, who he had a lengthy conversation with and, a little girl, whom during the war, he only caught a glimpse of her shadow but could not save her though he wanted to because of a raging fire.
All endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time.

Marley And Me
John and Jenny were young and deeply in love, with a perfect little house and not a care in the world. then the brought home Marley, a wiggly yellow fur ball of a puppy. Life would never be the same. Marley quickly grew into an uncontrollable ninety-seven pound steamroller of a Labrador retriever. Expelled from obedience school, even the tranquillizers prescribed by the vet couldn't stop him. A very funny book, one can learn that all through life, it's better to look at the bright side of life.

Letters To My Teacher
Learning has always been an experience. Whether be it caveman, computer whiz, butcher, baker or candlestick maker, everyone learns from others. Observation and instinct are elements crucial to our very survival. we learn by listening, seeing and doing, and what we lack in classical understanding,we make up for innate awareness. Letters To My Teacher contains letters from different students to their teachers, talking about how they inspired them. Each chapter contains a different understanding about what the teacher did to inspire their students. Some of these students have graduated from school a long time ago, some are even grandparents, but at whatever age they are, they still remember the teachers that had made a difference in their lives.

Where do I start?
Welcome to GSSReading.
It's a site for readers in GSS. It is set up as a place for you to discuss the books that you are reading or have finished reading. Maybe you will pick up ideas on what you want to read next.
You can post reviews about good books. You can also discuss issues in the books that you are reading.
From time to time, your teachers may also post their reviews on this site. Get to know what your teachers are reading.
However, your most pressing question is probably...
How do I post?
This is simple. Send me an email with your full name, class and email address. I will add you to the list of members of this site. You will get an email inviting you to join the site. Follow the instructions and ... you now have the authority to start posting.
Regards,
Mr Rozells
